today during physics, mr tan announced that the physics department would add 5 marks to everyone except to those who scored 73, or 75 and above
then me and william were like, "wtf?why suddenly add 5 marks de"
i mean, if u want to moderate, at least there must be a reason right?for example, if the paper was damn hard and everyone didnt do well, it's justified if u want to moderate..
but now?there are plenty of ppl scoring distinctions already, so there's completely no reason to moderate the marks..
also, to be fair, if u want to add marks, everyone shud get the same amt of extra marks right?at least it's fairer
but then again, if u add the same amt of marks to everyone, whats the point in adding?might as well not add right?
physics moderation means that those that got B3 are now A2..so that's being damn unfair to those students who studied right?(well, not me la, duh)
what's the point of studying to get a distinction if u'll get an extra grade(5 marks)even if u get B3?
like that might as well aim for B3 right?
geography was moderated, but at least it's justified..cos many ppl didnt do well, and the number of ppl getting distinctions is dang few..i think hardly anyone ba..without moderation
so at least there's some reason for adding marks right?
it just goes to show that the system of moderation is f#$!king screwed
